Tuesday 7th June, 7.00 for 7.30pm talk at Caterham Valley Library.
Caterham & District Local History Centre presents “Discovering the History of Your House” with Julian Pooley, Surrey History Centre.
Monday 13th June, 6.30pm at the former St Lawrence’s Hospital Burial Ground. A talk and tour with Liz Bonsall. Meet at the entrance to the burial ground on Bridleway 77, just 150m from Green Lane towards Chaldon and the Golf Club (easiest and level walk) or from the Golf Club towards Green Lane (this direction is steeper and can be muddy). There are no great distances to walk but the ground is uneven so strong footwear is advisable and preferably arms and legs should be covered. The grid reference is TQ320560. Free event although donations welcome for the Downlands Trust.
