Dick Moran, Chief Executive Officer of the Caterham Barracks Community Trust told the story of the army barracks in Caterham and how it was reborn in 2000 as an attractive and thriving urban village after consultation with the local community. 45 people attended the talk which was well received, with many questions for Dick afterwards. The proceeds, after costs, £210.50, were given to the Friends of Chaldon Church to conserve the church building.
